Activity mapping

The activity mapping answers which item is charged for a tracked service. The project is the basis; a tag refines the assignment when different services occur inside one project.

What is this for?

• Map project and tag onto a SAP item.
• Flag activities that are not charged.
• Deviate per business partner where needed.

How to set it up

1. Create an entry per project and store the item the time is charged on.
2. Where a project covers several kinds of service, add entries per tag – the tag refines, the project is the basis.
3. The item stands for the kind of service, not for a rate tier. The price comes from the Toggl rate, see rates and rounding.
4. Flag activities that are not invoiced accordingly.
5. To treat one customer differently, set the business partner in the entry.
