Toggl connection

NCS-Toggl reads the time entries through the Toggl interface – read-only, nothing is written back to Toggl. Work always happens inside a workspace; its projects, tags and users form the basis of the mappings.

What is this for?

• Store the access to Toggl.
• Define the workspace the time entries come from.
• Assign customers and projects through the external reference maintained in Toggl.

How to set it up

1. Store the Toggl access in the interfaces of the NCS-AddOn – all credentials live there centrally.
2. Select the workspace to bill from.
3. In Toggl, set the external reference on the customer or project to the matching SAP business partner. NCS-Toggl uses it for the assignment, so names do not have to match.
4. Everything else – users, activities, rates – is maintained in SAP, not in Toggl.
